Court Appearance - Benjamin Henderson

Benjamin is taken to court by Richard Graydon of Tooman Road who believes Ben is poaching on his land. Richard is a farmer and land owner in the area. In later years Ben's wife Eliza will rent a house from him for a period.

"For that the Deft within the last six months, to wit, on the same day on the 22nd of November 1863 did go or enter upon the lands of Compt*, situate at the Downs in the Parish of Kilcoole and County of Wicklow, to look for and destroy game, and not being then and there authorized to go or enter upon the said Lands - contrary to the statute."

The case was dismissed with a 'Nil'. There is no other information.
